How to Wipe Blackberry Data

Here at PCMag we are always testing new products. When we’re done, we have to—sigh—send them back. Even this lovely BlackBerry Torch 9800 (pictured here) has to go back to Research in Motion. However, I can’t just pack it up and send it back to RIM—it has all of my data and settings. What I want to do is wipe the phone out. This means killing the application and personal data, and even wiping my stored files off the media card if I choose. Read more
HP Mini 5103 Review

For the longest time, the Intel Atom had been a single-core processor, and elite netbooks like the HP Mini 5102 ($400 direct, ) had used nothing but that. But recently, Intel released a dual-core version made specifically for netbooks called the N550 (1.5GHz), and HP wasted little time announcing the HP Mini 5103 ($650 street). It retains all of the things we loved about the 5102, including a sleek metallic frame, top-notch user experience, and even a touch screen. But the major upgrade revolves around the processor, and the Mini 5103 wasn’t even sped up by all that much. Read more
