Add or change album art Windows Media

Windows Media Player 11 automatically downloads album art when possible from an online database. However, if you aren’t connected to the Internet or the Player doesn’t find the album art you want to use, you can manually add or change album art by following these instructions.

1. To get started, click the Library tab and find the album whose art you want to change.

2. Using Windows Explorer, find the picture you want to use as album art. Right-click on the picture and choose Copy to copy the picture to the Windows Clipboard.

3. Back in Windows Media Player, right-click on the album’s cover art and choose Paste Album Art. The Player will automatically make a copy of the image and resize it to fit the space.

Although the Player downloads album art from an online database, the Player won’t change art you manually add.
